the historical feel of the old abbey and the beautiful surroundings made for a peaceful getaway. the house itself was a perfect blend of classic charm and modern comfort. the communication with the host was excellent, and their warm welcome added to our experience. We only stayed for one night, but we can imagine that spending more time here would be incredibly enjoyable. Cons: All was good 🙂.

We stayed one night during our vacation and were greeted by the friendly owners who showed us around. The chateau and ruins within the forest surrounding the grounds provided a beautiful and secluded view from our gîte. The location felt historic, with an old abbey and a garden filled with wildflowers and trees. The house had a classic look but still had all the modern comforts we needed. The owners were hospitable and provided us with everything we needed, including a set for badminton. The territory was gorgeous, with picturesque ruins and a park that turned into a forest in some parts. The surroundings were peaceful and spacious, perfect for those who enjoy the countryside. We also appreciated the convenience of being 5km from a nearby village with supermarkets.
Can just recommend this hotel.

The room at La Maison D'Ambre was so cozy and comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. The private bathroom with a bath or shower was a nice touch, allowing me to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. I loved having this space all to myself, it made my stay even more enjoyable.
I personally found the decor a bit outdated, but I understand that some people may still appreciate its charm.

Title: Quaint and cozy hideaway
Cobwebs in the sofa bed, because apparently it's just so rarely used that no one bothered to clean it. How quirky!

I had an incredible stay at this tranquil rural hideaway. Tucked away down a small lane through a wood, I arrived at this gem of a place. The owner greeted me with a cheery smile and gave me the key, allowing me to enjoy the total tranquility and peace. The Gite was beautifully furnished and well-equipped, and the grounds were truly magical. The nearby town had everything I needed, and I only wished I could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this lovely hideaway.

Lovely garden, fully equipped kitchen, and free WiFi. How delightful to stay in a detached holiday home and have my own private parking. Oh, and the tile/marble floor was just splendid! I absolutely hated the fact that I had to park my car onsite. So inconvenient!
